Welcome Mr. Richard Pierlon Besides teacher Theater Dance at STEPS on Broadway Richard Pierlon has choreographed, danced and taught master classes around the world.
Welcome Mr. Anthony Savoy a soloist ballet, commercial and contemporary dancer/choreographer.
The Summer intensive is welcoming Mr. Kelby Brown from Joffrey Ballet, Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, Celine Dion Vegas and a Judge for the international Canadian competition “Can Dance!”.
We welcome the wonderful School of American Ballet alumna Mrs. Andrea Long-Naidu joining us this summer.
Welcome to The Oh! Ms. Karen Gayle who has worked with such companies as Earl Mosley’s Diversity in Dance.
School of American Ballet alumna Mrs. Andrea Long-Naidu joining us this summer. Mrs. Long-Naidu, a New York City Ballet Solo Dancer and a Dance Theater of Harlem Principal Dancer, has been named Artistic Teaching Chair at the School of American Ballet (SAB).
Richard Pierlon was trained at Harkness School of Ballet, Martha Graham School, Alvin Ailey School of Dance and New Dance Group Studio. He has worked with Agnes De Mille, Cathy Dobby, Gwen Verdon, Lee Theodore, Bob Fosse, Debbie Allen, Eleo Pomare, Sophie Maslow, Walter Knickes, Arlene Phillips and Luis Johnson, among others. Mr Pierlon has choreographed at the Latin Quarter in New York; at Bally’s Park Place in Atlantic City; at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas (Mardi Gras Room); at the Sporting Club and the Cabaret in Monte Carlo, France; Brick Hall in Nagasaki, Japan; and in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Saga City, Japan; at the Convention Exhibition Center in Hong Kong; in Israel; and in Amsterdam, Holland. Besides teacher Theater Dance at STEPS on Broadway he has choreographed, danced and taught master classes around the world.
Ms. Karen Gayle has worked with such companies as Earl Mosley’s Diversity in Dance, the Mantis Dance Project, Canboulay Dance Theatre, and had the honor of working with such choreographers as Ronald K. Brown, Earl Mosley, and Tony winner Hinton Battle. Karen has taught at Ballet Hispanico, The Joffrey Ballet School, The School at Columbia University, Horace Mann, New Dance Group, Central Park Dance and is currently a faculty member at Steps on Broadway/The School at Steps and Montclair State University. She has had the opportunity to guest teach and choreograph across the U.S. and abroad.
Anthony Savoy worked as a Soloist dance artist with Dance Theatre of Harlem, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and American National Ballet. I was a participant on So You Think You Can Dance, I have also worked as a Principal body double for America’s Got Talent, while working on many FOX and NBC shows as dance and chorus talent with a host of other industry big names.
